Transport

Planes

Direct flights run between Glasgow and London, Birmingham and Bristol, as well as plenty of European cities for those travelling from mainland Europe.

Some flight routes are not yet open for booking, so it's worth checking back regularly so you can snap up the cheap seats once they go live.

The 500 bus runs between Glasgow airport and the city centre.

Trains

The main nearby train stations are Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street, both are walking distance from the venues.

London trains run into Central station. These are not yet on sale, but the best way to know when the cheapest tickets get released is to sign up for the Avanti West Coast alerts here.

Glasgow has an underground network, Cowcaddens station is a 4 minute walk from the church.

...and there's also the London to Glasgow sleeper train!

Automobiles

There is limited disabled parking available outside the church. However there are places to park in town, and you can access discounted parking at the NCP Glasshouse Car Park, approx £7.95 for 24 hours. Download the NCP app and enter the promotional code THA6LW in the profile section.

Most hotels offer free parking, but best to enquire direct.

Things to do

If you're coming from afar and fancy making a weekend of it, we thought we'd share some of our favourite activities (ft. worst photos) the city centre has to offer...

A tour inside the factory where Glasgow's own lager is made. It's fun, informative and you'll get a great taste at the end of it.

Check it out

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a train station? This is far more fascinating than it sounds. But book early - it's always sold out!

Check it out

There are so many places we can recommend for food, drinks, live music and art, and we will make a little list closer to the date! If you're sticking around for the weekend, there will be some Friday/Sunday activities, but don't feel obliged - explore the wonderful city, or use it as a chance to see more of Scotland!
